SITUATION AND MISSION:
Last night, network Lima-Zero, designated as the Quick Reaction Force channel for allied locals in distress, came under assault from an enemy cyber operative. The flooding and interference prevented four civilians from establishing contact with the team in time, leading to their unfortunate demise at the hands of enemy patrols. Additional reports also confirm the capture of three Outcast fighters from Tango-7 within the hostile territory of Sinking Country. These events are all directly linked to the attack. Actionable intelligence has been obtained regarding our primary target. Despite his attempt to hide his tracks, our OPSEC was able to draw a profile. The target's electronic signature has been PIDed as:
0205DIA
with the call sign "Kodiak" also utilized within enemy nets. He is currently stationed at Auroa Intranet Control, which is the point of origin for the attack. Intel confirms that Kodiak and the units in the AO are now orchestrating an even more ambitious offensive against vital infrastructure. Immediate intervention is required. Caution is urged in dealing with Kodiak, as reports indicate severe mental instability. There's a definite risk of civilians being taken hostage or a suicide bombing attempt. We have no room for error. Our mission is to neutralize Kodiak and the units responsible. At the first two objectives, we will interrogate any enemy combatant in an attempt to extract valuable intel regarding the whereabouts of the Tango-7 fighters. Prepare for action team.
